AURORA.

****************

She baptized her being in a radical bliss of self-love & christened her once nameless soul the name 'Aurora'.

Aurora literally means "the dawn" and less literarily alludes to the meaning "light". Light is energy: Good energy.

And as such was her soul.

But no... As chitzly poetic as that may sound; that wasn't quite the reason why she settled on that somewhat celestial name.

Far from it, the reason behind the choice was much less witty or elaborate.

The name Aurora simply clicked.

She felt the longing in her soul stir whenever she called her, "Aurora". And yes... She'd also established, without a doubt, her soul was female.

Her soul lacked that valor that came from mars and in its place was a luster from venus.

Her soul lacked the majestic roar of the mane and in its place was a soft, ferocious purr. "Pprrr," her soul called.

I digress.

Upon all else, her soul resonated with the name for one reason; the 'Aurora Borealis' ... popularly known as the Northern Lights.

Why the Northern Lights?

As wildly absurd as this may sound... The Aurora Borealis was everything she had always imagined her soul looked like, of how souls look like: an enchanting flair of color freely roaming the clouds; a glorious spectacle of lights dancing to the waves of the wind.

In this vein was the name Aurora deemed fit for her ever so wondrous soul.
